He may be a graduate of Athens University of Economics and Business in the field of Business Administration, however Stavros was ultimately won by his passion, Pastry! He studied at the Le Monde School of Bakery and Pastry graduating in 2014. He began his work in the field in 2005 when he worked as a baker assistant at “Artopoiisi” in Alimos, Athens for two years. The collaboration with the bakery “Filodina” followed for three years and then his apprenticeship at the patisserie “Esperia”. For the following two years he worked as a pastry assistant at “Trezor”, until he collaborated with Nikolaos Koutsoukos at “Valeron” patisserie where he worked as Patisserie Manager. During the summer season of 2014 he had the chance to work as a Sous Chef next to chef Nektarios Vourikis and after that he worked as a Pastry Chef at “Katsiouli” in Athens and “Monterno” Patisseries in Chania, Crete. Since February 2018, he has been working at the well-known “Fresh” patisseries in Athens as Head Pastry Chef and Production Manager. During his career, he had the opportunity to attend numerous seminars conducted by famous chefs like Alexandre Paisant, Javier Guilen, Jialing Gusto, Mauro Peressini, Amaury Guichon, Carles Mampel and others. Stavros has also participated in international exhibitions (Sirha, Sigep Rimini, etc.) and has been a Pastry Associate in the magazine “Sweet Stories” for the years 2014-2015.
